This is my first ever review I write, so bear with me if it is not what you are expecting. If there is something you feel I should add, let me know (if you can?) I own a second hand 2010 VW Jetta 5, the 1.6 TDI comfortline model. I am super happy with my car, I have owned it for a year and a half now and have done close to 30 000km. It has loads of boot space and plenty of leg room in both the front and back of the car. The interior looks and feels good. City driving I get close to 13km/l and open road/long distance I get close to 20km/l The car looks good on the outside and has great comfort as well. Entertainment I rated it 3 stars, as it did not have Bluetooth, or a USB port, I had to install an aftermarket radio to add these features - as I could not find an add on option, apart from those lighter socket USB modulators. I can not really comment on safety, it has safety belts all round and sensors for the two front seat safety belts, as well as about 10 or so airbags which I counted, not sure if there are any more hidden ones I missed. It has good performance, it is limited on max 200kph, but has plenty of power, even when loaded - I do feel the traction control is pretty useless though, as I do get quite a lot of wheel spin on take off, especially on a wet road, and it does not always kick in (I have felt this quite a few times, as it makes a hard knocking sound and cuts the power when it activates) So far everyone who I have had as passengers in my car, commented on how soft it is on the road, so the pothole absorption is quite good I guess, I can clearly feel the difference on the same roads between the Jetta and other cars. The next test I would need to do is trailer towing - I have had a tow-bar installed on it, so it is now just to get that trailer and take it on a road trip.
