First Look at the Next Generation Jeep Wrangler

Date Posted: November 3, 2017

The arrival of the all-new 2018 Jeep Wrangler is imminent. For Wrangler fans, this is genuinely exciting news. For everyone else, this is also exciting news as we all get to see what Jeep’s new-age take an old-school, off-roading legend will be.

Jeep recently released a string of teaser photos of the redesigned Jeep Wrangler, and it was enough to get people quite excited ahead of its expected launch at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The photos revealed a design that isn’t entirely “all-new”. In fact, it stays true to (firstly) the original Wrangler’s design and (secondly) the look of the current-generation Wrangler.

What is new, however, isn’t visible in the design, but will certainly be felt in the mechanics. The American automaker is promising advanced fuel-efficient powertrains, more advanced technology than ever before, and an abundance of new safety features. The images also revealed a new four-door Unlimited model, as well as an open-top Rubicon model.

In a statement regarding the new Wrangler’s features, Jeep said: “The all-new Wrangler’s unique design includes an instantly recognizable keystone-shaped grille, iconic round headlamps and square tail lamps, improved aerodynamics, a convenient fold-down windshield for off-road purists, even more open-air freedom, and dozens of different door, top and windshield combinations.”

The all-new Jeep Wrangler will make its highly anticipated debut at the 2017 LA Autoshow on 29 November.
